Crazy

Stemming from the real life story of musician Hank Garland, “Crazy” depicts the way the man surfaced into the public eye, stole hearts, and became the legend that he was. Coming off as a watered down version of “Walk The Line”, the body of acting is unable to measure up to the likes of Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix.

The performance of Ali Larter continues to display her immeasurable beauty and fortitude, but with the inclusion of a lucid sex scene, the film does not warrant an award winning stature and remains low brow. Perfect for an afternoon film and nothing more, “Crazy” becomes little more than a made-for-television popcorn flick.
