Oscars Watch: 2015 Phoenix Film Critics Circle Awards

As is the trend forming, “Spotlight” takes Best Picture, George Miller (“Mad Max: Fury Road”) takes Best Director. There’s no denying that Best Actress in a Leading Role is Brie Larson’s to lose, while Michael Fassbender (“Steve Jobs”) continues to make good traction for getting a nomination. I’m so excited to see Sylvester Stallone (“Creed”) getting wins across the board as well, as it’d be great to see him nominated for the Oscar. And the same goes for Alicia Vikander, which I discussed in a previous post. Phoenix Critics do a little love for every film drama, making sure every one gets an award.
