ANT-MAN AND THE WASP

Yesterday, Marvel lined up a bunch of the “Avengers: Infinity War” cast to ask one of the big questions coming out of the world’s biggest film: “where were Ant-Man and the Wasp?” Today, that is answered in the latest trailer for the film, messing with shrinking and enlarging our heroes. This time around, our heroes are headed into the Quantum Realm, which was brushed upon in Peyton Reed’s first “Ant-Man.” This time, the villain Ghost, played by Hannah John-Kamen, is born of that realm, being able to phase through matter and as said by Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) it will take both Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly), to beat her. Set between “Captain America: Civil War” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” you can imagine that was ever transpires here will ultimately explain why Ant-Man was not involved in the events of “Infinity War” and, if I were to guess, will deliver something new to the storyline that will help with defeating Thanos in the next Avengers film. As always, the highlights of these films include using normal objects and making them bigger to be used as weapons and Michael Pena’s comic relief. Plus, the end of the trailer gives a huge shout out to another Marvel character, Goliath, who is referenced to be Laurence Fishburne’s character, as he and Ant-Man discuss how big they’ve gotten.
