GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY || In a recent interview, director James Gunn has confirmed that the title for the third “Guardians” film will stay consistent with the previous sequel and will simply be titled: “Guardian Of The Galaxy Vol. 3.” Read more at: Screen Rant.

GASPAR NOE’S CLIMAX || At the Cannes Film Festival this week, Gaspar Noe’s latest drug-induced fantasy “Climax” has taken home the top prize in the Directors’ Fortnight section of the competition. No one was more surprised than the director himself. Read more at: Deadline.

BLACKkKLANSMAN || The poster was revealed for Spike Lee’s film “BlackkKlansman” today. It features John David Washington wearing a Ku Klux Klan sheet, holding a hair pick instead of a pitchfork. The tagline read: “Infiltrate Hate.” See poster directly below:

TV NEWS

ARROW || This December, the CW series “Arrow” will be hosting another crossover event where the characters of “The Flash,” “Supergirl,” and “DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow” all show up and this time around, it has been announced that Batwoman and Gotham City will be joining the fray. No word as to who will play Batwoman, but Steven Amell, the Arrow himself, made the announcement on his Twitter. Read more at: Hollywood Reporter.

PENNYWORTH || The prequel series that no one asked for is coming to Epix. Based on Batman’s butler from the “Gotham” series, showrunner Bruno Heller has already landed a 10-episode, straight-to-series order. The series will not include actor Sean Pertwee, who portrayrd Alfred Pennyworth on FOX’s “Gotham.” The series will instead be set during the 1960s. Read more at: Collider.

CATFISH || If anyone’s still watching the MTV series “Catfish,” the show’s production has been put on hold after sexual misconduct allegations were placed against executive producer and host Yaniv “Nev” Schulman. Read more at: Hollywood Reporter.

THE HUNT || Jordan Peele’s Nazi-hunting series “The Hunt” has been picked up by Amazon Studios. They have ordered it straight-to-series with 10 episodes. The series is set in New York City in 1977. Read more at: The Verge.
