PACIFIC RIM: UPRISING & TOMB RAIDER || Screenjunkies provide a double feature this week in their Honest Trailer for “Pacific Rim: Uprising” and “Tomb Raider,” which they spend the trailer discussing how similarly bad the films are. Some of the highlight lines include discussing why the studios chose to make these films (“yeah I know, I sound like my grandpa… I’ll just be in the shed”) and how “Tomb Raider” should have stuck with the storyline of Lara Croft being a Grubhub delivery driver (“anyone can raid a tomb… getting Chipotle from Midtown to the Bronx in 20 minutes or less, now that is exciting.”)

SPIDER-MAN SEQUEL || While at the ACE Comic-Con in Seattle, Tom Holland took to social media to reveal the title of the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” sequel in which he will star, holding up the script with the title “Spider-Man: Far From Home” printed on the front. The film is due in theaters July 9th, 2019, just a few months removed from the yet untitled “Avengers 4.” Read more at: The Verge.

LA’S FINEST || Gabrielle Union took to social media today to reveal the poster for the “Bad Boys” spinoff series, “LA’s Finest,” that she and Jessica Alba will be starring in. The biggest news out of this announcement is that the internet and TV service Charter Communications has picked up the series, “marking their first major series order for Spectrum.” Read more at: Entertainment Weekly.
