Known more for his work as a master magician, Richard Jay Potash, or Ricky Jay as he was dubbed professionally, would find work in television and film using his gift for the sleight of hand. Most notably, he would star in the films “Boogie Nights,” “Magnolia,” and “The Prestige.” He would also star in hit television series like “The X-Files” and “Deadwood.” Although he may be gone, his legacy will live on in his work forever.
